We have carried out an all-sky survey for dark clouds by applying a traditional starcount technique to the optical photographic plates contained in Digitized Sky Survey I. The survey was started in 1998, and was completed in 2005. We compiled results of the survey into a quantitative atlas and catalog of dark clouds, and published them in a special issue of Publications of the Astronomical Society of Japan (PASJ). In this article, we introduce our atlas and catalog of dark clouds themselves as well as an example how they can be used in researches of astronomy. The atlas and catalog are available also on the internet in FITS and ASCII files, respectively, at the URL http://astro.u-gakugei.ac.jp/~tenmon/Atlas/ [ now at http://darkclouds.u-gakugei.ac.jp/ ].
