UBV photoelectric and photographic observations of the variable V426 Oph are analysed. Outbursts with an amplitude up to 1m.5 are shown to occur. The U-B colour index is maximum at the ascending branch of the light curve, and the B-V index is minimum at maximum light. Rapid variability with an amplitude up to 0m.2, which consists of several co-existing cycles, is discovered.
