MK classifications are presented for 8 stars from F6 V to K1 V in a
central region of the Praesepe cluster. The spectra are identical to
those of the Hyades in this interval, and comparison of the HR diagrams
gives a distance modulus of 6.18 magnitudes for Praesepe.
