By analyzing 75 sections of the HCS at the earth's orbit, it is shown that, for a stream-associated HCS, an additional enhancement of plasma density n(max) and magnetic field B(max) results from collisions with a high-speed solar wind (SW) inside the sheet as compared with their values for a horizontal HCS, corresponding to the type of stream-free HCS. In this case, the stronger the effect of additional increase of n(max) and B(max), the larger the slope of the HCS section to the solar equatorial plane and the higher the value of SW velocity gradient at points n(max) and B(max). Quantitative characteristics of these relations are obtained.
