The chaotic problem of geodesics around two fixed black holes M1 and M2 in general relativity is addressed. For photons and particles, this chaos is found to be of the diffusion type; for particles, this is true even if the energy is elliptic, the phase space is infinite in velocity, and the particles reach infinite velocity as they reach M1 or M2. Thus, the phase space is not ergodically filled by the orbits, as in compact cases. The main differences in the behaviors of photons and particles are pointed out.
