Calculations are presented for the time variation of the local density of grains suspended in the gas of a turbulence eddy. The conditions suitable for dust to clump together in the eddy and the influence of particle coagulation effects upon the clump formation dynamics are investigated. Results show that local dust clumps having different densities and consisting of particles with different compositions may develop if turbulent gas motions are present in an interstellar cloud. It is determined that the coagulation of the grains as they move in an eddy will not significantly affect the dynamics of the clump formation, although it could have considerable importance in the development of clumps of metallic grains. It is shown that local clumps may proceed to evolve either by moving along a Keplerian orbit or by setting in the gravitational field of the gas or the central condensation. It is suggested that the dissimilar action of the gas surrounding a clump upon grains located at different distances from the clump bondary could make the clump more compact and produce dense accumulations of grains.
