Results are presented of high-precision multicolor WBVR photoelectric observations for the binary star EK Cep in order to provide an additional test of the general propositions of the general theory of relativity as proposed by Koch (1973). The photometric elements, absolute dimensions, and the observed rate of periastron motion are calculated for this binary star. It is found that the observed value of the periastron motion of the rotation of the orbit 0.076 deg/yr agrees, to within the accuracy of measurement, with the predicted relativistic effect.
