Results are presented of an investigation of the interacting pairs of galaxies VV 48 and VV 219 based on spectroscopic observations in the red region with approximately 90 A/mm dispersion using the 125 cm reflector of the Shternberg Crimean station. Rotation curves of the components derived from the H-alpha and N II forbidden emission lines show that in VV 219 the brighter component, NGC 4568, has a rotation curve with a long linear section extending 5 kpc from the nucleus, whereas the rotation curve of the companion, NGC 4567, has a well-defined turnover. The peak rotational velocities of the components, corrected for projection, are found to be 125 and 55 km/sec, respectively. In VV 48 the primary is determined to have a linear rotation curve to 7 kpc from the nucleus. In addition, calculations are presented of limits on the mass and mass/luminosity ratio of each component in the two systems.
