Results are presented of photoelectric UBV measurements of M32 made in 44 fields 29-175 arcsec from the center and of measurements of the center using different diaphragms. It is shown that the apparent isophotes can be approximated by ellipses with an axial ratio b/a of 0.85, and that the position angle ranges from 330-348 deg, with an average value of 338 deg. The surface brightness is found to conform to the de Vaucouleurs a exp 1/4 law as well as to several other laws. The center of M32 is determined to differ only slightly in color from the rest of M32, which indicates that its star population is more uniform than in the bulge of M31.
