A large, unbiased sample of 21 cm line width is used to find strong dependence of average ΔV21 on Hubble type. The dependence is strong enough to make type groups well defined in velocity dispersion. The existence of Tully-Fisher-like relations between type-averages of radii, luminosity, and line widths produces the result that Hubble types are binned in mass, inside their Holmberg radii. However, the mass to blue light ratio, M/LB, is constant, for the averages of all types. The canonical, value of all the averages of the different types is 10 (M/LB)_sun;.
