Previous estimates of the minimal rotation period of strange stars have
assumed the universality of the bag constant B. For nonuniversal B the
admissible rotation periods are found to be greater than (0.56-0.68) ms.
Hence pulsars with periods smaller than this evidently cannot be
considered as strange stars.
