New harmonic coordinates for the Schwarzschild geometry are found, and the metric is investigated. In these coordinates, the particles falling into the black hole reach the event horizon in the case of a finite value of the time parameter. The results imply that, when supplemented by harmonic conditions, the Einstein equations do not exclude the existence of black holes.
