Structure inhomogeneity of the photospheric surface and its variation with the cycle phase has been studied on the basis of long-term data of the Kislovodsk Solar Station. Characteristic sizes of small cells, coinciding in scale with mezogranulation have been found using a series of photoheliograms measured with a micrometer. The distributions of cell sizes for the maximum and minimum of the solar cycle show a definite tendency to larger scales of cells at the minimum of the solar cycle. Larger cells were studied statistically. Power spectra were constructed and significant periods of brightness variations were detected. The derived sizes of quasistationary cells show that there is a tendency to their enlargement at the minimum of the solar cycle.
