Spectra in three position angles in NGC 4258 reveal a complex pattern of ionized gas velocities. Along the major axis the spectrum has a feathery appearance, with multiple velocity structures at many radii. At 25 deg to the major axis, on the approaching far side, gas velocities span the range from the disk rotation velocity to 300 km/s more positive. It is likely that this is high-velocity gas drizzling to the plane. On the near side, a galactic chimney is observed with gas velocities ranging from +250 km/s to -250 km/s with respect to the disk velocity.
