Observational and analytical investigations of solar radio emission based on data obtained with the RATAN-600 radio telescope are briefly reviewed, summarizing the results of 16 papers published during 1982-1990. The unique features of RATAN-600 are discussed, including subarcmin spatial resolution, broad waveband coverage (mm to dm), and circular polarization measurement. Consideration is then given to S-component diagnostic studies (mean magnetic scale heights, their relation to flare activity, subcomponent classification, and peculiar emission features), coronal mm-wave sources, gradual burst emission, and preburst and impulsive burst emission.
