Evolutionary models of remnants, caused by sequential supernova explosions in an evolved OB association, are followed with a two-dinmensional hydrodynamic code. The remants evolve in galactic disks with either Gaussian, exponential, or composite stratifications combined with either hot or cold halos. The calculations show that in extended stratified disks fairly coherent structures occur, while remnants blow readily out of disks with strong density gradients. If blowouts were common in a disk, a hot halo would be likely to develop around it, profoundly modifying the evolution of subsequent remnants and enabling direct exit of the supernova ejecta into the halo gas and/or the intergalactic medium. It is likely that a large-scale circulation of the metal-enriched material results if the ejecta are retained by the galactic gravity.
