Spectrovelocimetric profiles of the bright RV Tauri star AC Her obtained with CORAVEL are analyzed. These data are used together with observations of R Sct presented previously to confirm the previously presented, qualitative model of the pulsation of the photosphere of RV Tauri. There are always two shock waves produced during each period, which is defined by the duration between two consecutive deep light minima. The derivative of the radial velocity curve shows that each shock is clearly associated with a photospheric acceleration. The strongest shock occurs during the deep light minimum while the weakest one during the shallow light minimum.
