Previous work has shown that there exist optimal revisit times for TPF searches in cases where no planet is observed. The methods previously employed to solve the question of "an optimized shot in the dark" are applied to the case where a planet is observed. The evolution of the probability of observation depends on the factors of the observation, distance, stellar luminosity and coronagraph working angle. Despite minor differences in the specific values for time and probability of observation, three main archetypes of behavior emerge. These three archetypes are introduced and explained. Finally, implications for the development of strategies for revisiting previously observed planets are discussed.
