In the spring of 1975 studies of the UX UMa were conducted with a 76-cm telescope and a two-channel high-speed photometric system. The data obtained in these studies are shown together with observations by Mandel (1965) and by Nather and Robinson (1974). It had been found in previous investigations of the eclipsing binary that variations in the time of eclipse minimum have a cyclic behavior with approximately a 29-year period. An evaluation of the currently available data indicates that apsidal motion may be the cause for the variation in eclipse minimum.
