The ionospheric current, flowing during a weak magnetic storm, has been observed during a rocket flight from Woomera, South Australia. It is found to be similar to the normal Sq current, both in height and intensity. No significant ionospheric contribution to the magnetic field perturbations at ground level, associated with the storm, can be identified.
