Two rocket observations of Sco X-1 covering wide energy range are reported. The observed continuum spectra are compared with the radiation spectrum from a spherical optically thick hot plasma, and the probable ranges of the values of the radius in electron scattering length and the temperature kT of the X-ray emitting hot plasma are derived. The probable ranges of the values of the radius obtained from the X-ray continuum spectrum is consistent with the observed upper limit of the equivalent core width of Fe/+24/X-ray line emission for the case in which the radius of the spherical hot plasma is larger than 8 in electron scattering length. The effects of the shell structure of the plasma and the cooler surrounding plasma on the X-ray spectrum are discussed. It is concluded that the simultaneous measurements of the continuum X-ray spectrum over wide energy range and the X-ray line emissions are important to investigate the structure of the hot plasma of Sco X-1.
