Spectra with a resolution of 3.6 A have been obtained of six candidate blue stragglers in the globular cluster Omega Cen using the 2D-FRUTTI photon counting system at CTIO. Radial velocities were derived from each spectrum by applying cross-correlation techniques, and the results indicate that all the blue stragglers are members of the cluster. The implications of the results for various postulated origins of blue stragglers are discussed, and a possible method for deciding between some of them is outlined. Data on individual members of the Omega Cen are used to address important noncanonical aspects of globular cluster horizontal branches. The data are consistent with the hypothesis that all globular cluster blue horizontal branch stars with T(eff) greater than about 15,000 K have low surface helium abundances.
