An installation built to accumulate data so that conditions on the Sun and in space which are reflected in the state of the Earth and its surroundings can be studied is described. It studies extensive atmospheric showers which are encountered when the Earth comes into the path of cosmic particles with very high energy levels. This complex is used to study the state of the ionosphere, magnetic fields and telluric currents, cosmic rays and radio frequency radiation, the polar auroras and meteorological phenomena.
