The X-ray transient VO332+53, discovered by VELA 5B satellite in 1973, possesses two uncommon properties: it simultaneously exhibits both rapid random flickering and regular pulsations, and it shows flaring at both the shorter period of month and a much longer cycle of many years. A discussion is presented on the spectrophotometry data of the source's optical counterpart. A total of 24 spectra from observations in November 1983 and November 1984 epochs were combined to plot the spectrum of the source between 4200 and 4900 A. The presence of strong evidence in favor of the source being a Be star is noted; if it is, then r = 2.6 +1.11 or - 0.8 kpc.
