Numerical methods of image reconstruction for use with an orbiting array of optical telescopes in which a rotating rectangular aperture mimics a large circular aperture are discussed. Numerical simulations to test the robustness of algorithms in the presence of photon noise are described. Measures of the quality of the reconstructed image as a function of total photon count are presented. Results of laboratory simulations using relatively bright, complex images and broad band optical filters are also presented. Good quality images are readily reconstructed from the numerical and laboratory simulations.
