The results of comparison are presented for the parameters of the harmonics with frequencies close to the frequency of the nearly diurnal free polar motion predicted by the theory of rotation of the liquid-core earth. These parameters were obtained by different authors from the astronomical latitude observations in Pulkovo, Paris, Washington, Greenwich, Poltava, the International Latitude Stations, and Gorky. In spite of the remoteness of the epochs compared, all the determinations are in a satisfactory agreement. The harmonic with the period 23h56m55s and amplitude 0arcsec.008, coinciding with the predicted period for the earth's model I by Molodenskij, is sufficiently steady, but has a direction opposite to the predicted one.
