We present new BVI observations of the Galactic globular cluster M14 obtained with the 2.4 meter Hilter telescope at the MDM Observatory. The observations were made under good seeing conditions and cover an area of 25x25 arcminutes centered on the cluster. The observations have been reduced using the DAOPHOT stellar photometry package and extensive artificial star tests to produce detailed color-magnitude diagrams and luminosity functions. The data extends from the tip of the red giant branch to below the main sequence turnoff. Using several statistical tests, we determine the age and distance modulus to the cluster by fitting the luminosity function to a library of theoretical models. The theoretical models were generated for a range of physical input parameters (opacity, reaction rate, etc.) and this comparison allows us to test the models.
