We have created a catalog of bright RR Lyrae variable stars in the solar neighborhood using data from the Northern Sky Variability Survey (NSVS). These stars, which are also good distance indicators, probe the inner halo and thick disk components of the Galaxy. The photometric data from the NSVS survey allowed us to calculate the periods, amplitudes, mean magnitudes, Fourier decomposition parameters, and photometric metallicities for our sample of 1193 ab-type RR Lyrae stars. We present our results on the Oosterhoff Dichotomy trends observed from our magnitude limited sample. We found a possible mixture of thin and thick disk stars, which yielded a short scale height for the disk component.
