We present results from a multiwavelength study of a sample of galaxy groups selected from the ROSAT Deep Cluster Survey. The groups span the redshift range z ˜ 0.23--0.59 and have between 4 and 20 confirmed members. The velocity dispersions of these groups range from ˜ 125 km/s to 650 km/s. Similar to X-ray groups at low redshift, these systems contain a significant population of early-type galaxies. In most cases, the X-ray emission is peaked on the most luminous elliptical galaxy in the group. However, there are a few prominent exceptions where the X-ray emission is not centered on any particular galaxy. These systems may be groups in the process of collapsing for the first time.
