We report on observations of Nova Aql 2005 (V1663 Aql) using the Palomar Testbed Interferometer. Near-infrared observations of the nova were initiated approximately 9 days after peak luminosity and continued for 10 days. Using the three available baselines we resolved the milliarcsecond-scale emission and measured the shape and angular size of the nova photosphere as a function of time. These observations can be combined with radial-velocity information to produce a geometric distance (and hence luminosity) estimate.
