The results of a search for nucleon decays into an antineutrino plus mesons from the KAMIOKANDE detector are presented. The operational method of the detector is briefly described, and the selection criteria for various possible decay modes are listed. Some of the criteria are described in detail. No evidence for nucleon decay into an antineutrino plus mesons is found. The number of selected events are well explained by atmospheric neutrino interactions. The results provide more stringent limits on tau/B (lifetime/branching ratio) than any other experiments for most of the decay modes. The lower limits on tau/B are in the range 0.5-4.2 x 10 to the 31st yr at 90 percent C.L. depending on the nucleon decay modes.
