An evaluation is made of observations of HDE 319139 conducted since 1984. The photometry obtained gives only marginal evidence of spot modulation during the period in which spectroscopy was taken. Several of the spectra show distinct evidence of doubling of the absorption lines. The unusual intensity of the emission line spectrum makes this star unique among late-type dwarfs; emission line strengths bear comparison with those of T Tauri stars. HDE 319139 appears to be an intermediate object between premain sequence T Tauri stars and the main sequence flare and spotted stars.
