The eps Cha group is a 2-5 Myr old nearby sparse stellar cluster containing the optically brightest and nearest Herbig Ae star, HD104237. The HD104237 field, which is comprised of several companions (A-E) within a 10 arcsec radius, provides a unique opportunity to obtain a high-resolution spectrum of an Herbig Ae star. We will use the spectrum to probe X-ray emission mechanisms in young A-stars (which were not expected to have either magnetic dynamos or shocked winds) and to compare to less massive WTT and CTT stars. In addition, we will also obtain a spectrum of the CTT member, HD104237-E, to investigate temperature structure and variability, and (if local absorption is low) density diagnostics.
