We have produced the first velocity-resolved H-alpha maps of high-velocity cloud Complex A using data from the Wisconsin Hydrogen-Alpha Mapper (WHAM). Comparisons of the H-alpha emission components to previous HI data show some correlation in velocity but not in intensity. These observations provide further insight into the ionization processes in the halo of the Milky Way and constrain the Lyman continuum flux at the distance of Complex A (4-10 kpc). The large region surveyed also contains preliminary evidence of ionized components associated with Complex C and the Outer Arm. This research was supported by the NSF through an Astronomy and Astrophysics REU site grant (AST-0453442) at UW-Madison. WHAM operations are supported through NSF grant AST-0204973.
