The orbital resonance among the Galilean satellites of Jupiter is
considered. Using the basic data for the first four Jupiter Galilean
satellites as a reference system, it is shown that an ideal resonance
model can be constructed that reproduces the relevant observed
characteristics of the first three Galilean satellites.
