In order to explain the observed three-dimensional structure of galaxies an approximate method is applied to derive the cells belonging to the tessellation. When a fractal distribution of seeds is considered the resulting network of vertices turns out to be fractal with a dimension similar to that of the seeds. More complex distributions are considered in order to simulate the CFA data and the regular spacing of the megawalls.
