The machine-readable version of the catalog, as it is currently being distributed from the astronomical data centers, is described. The catalog is a collection of weighted mean values for stars measured in the UBV photoelectric photometric system. The mean values were computed by combining all individual measurements compiled in the catalog of Mermilliod (1987), plus some newer observations gathered since then. The catalog contains data for 92,964 stars measured since the introduction of the UBV system in 1953. A second file includes a description of the coded numbering system used to identify the stars. The catalog was prepared at the Institut d'Astronomie de l'Université de Lausanne.
