The Klein-Gordon equation is examined, and a new method is used to determine directly the Hawking temperature and the location of the event horizons in the Vaidya-Schwarzschild-de Sitter space-time. The first approximation of the result obtained with the new method is found to be the same as that obtained with the classical method of calculating the energy-momentum tensor.
