From the field equations of the bimetric general relativity theory one finds that, as the end product of gravitational collapse, there exists a collapsed state of a star in which the Schwarzschild sphere is completely filled with matter of uniform density and pressure. The mass is given by 8(pi)(m sq) = 1/(rho - P). In the case of pressureless matter the metric is continuous on the stellar surface. In the case of nonzero pressure there is a discontinuity of the metric across this surface. Inside the collapsed object the physical metric has the same form as that of an Einstein closed universe.
