The eclipsing binary RY Scuti has been observed in the U, B, V photoelectric system, and two linear ephemerides have been computed, one for all the observed times of minima and the other ranging from the epochs J.D. 2426176.75 to J.D. 2443698.43. A large scatter is found to be present in the light curves, and their morphology shows a strong resemblance to those of the Beta Lyrae type. The UBV observations are presented, including the phase and the differential magnitude (variable minus comparison star) in each color. In addition, a test of the primary minimum for asymmetry showed an anomalous trend in the branches.
