The spatial orientation of the galaxian plane for each galaxy listed in Karachentsev's catalog of isolated galaxy pairs was determined. Due to the tilt ambiguity, two possible orientations of the normal to the galaxy plane were found. For paired galaxies the differences between normals were computed, giving the angle beta. The angle beta was tested for isotropy. The distribution is not isotropic. The same alignment is observed for a sample containing components of different morphological types as well as for a sample containing only spiral galaxies with small radial velocity differences between the two components. The latter case of anisotropy shows, that galaxy rotation axes favor, at 2 sigma level, parallel distribution. Also the perpendicularity of spins is avoided, but this effect is statistically marginal (1 sigma level).
