The size of the cosmic-ray halo is determined from the solution of the
kinetic equation describing particle propagation in a scattering medium.
For the case investigated it is shown that the halo scale depends on
particle energy. A possible consequence of this effect on cosmic-ray
grammage and anisotropy is discussed.
