We present observations using the NASA Far Ultraviolet Spectroscopic Explorer (FUSE) of high velocity features at VLSR = +63 km s-1 associated with the absorption lines of molecular hydrogen (H2) seen towards the Monoceros Loop Supernova Remnant. The detection of H2 gas at such high velocity in the galactic disk is exceedingly rare, and we note that this high velocity molecular absorption seems to be formed at a very similar velocity to that of the high velocity atomic lines reported by Welsh et al. (2000) towards this remnant. We present column density, velocity and temperature fits to these molecular profiles and discuss possible mechansims for the production and survival of such disturbed molecular gas clouds.
