I will summarize the session on ``The Cosmological Impact of Galactic
Winds''. I will try to highlight what we know and what we don't know
about galactic winds in the local universe, and explain how these
uncertainties affect our understanding of the global impact of galactic
winds on the evolution of galaxies and the inter-galactic medium.
