In a search of nonlinear models for very long-period Cepheids, we found
models with period-doubling behaviors. The feature is quite similar to
that mentioned by Carson & Stothers (1984). Here, we report the main
features of these models, and briefly discuss the origin of the
period-doubling behavior.
