Observations of the Carina Nebula at the frequency corresponding to the H166 alpha line are reported. The observations were made with a 30-m antenna having a noise temperature of about 90 K and a 34 arcmin HPBW at 21 cm. Several profiles where the observed line was detected above the noise level are shown. Two of these profiles clearly show a double structure whose component velocities are -10 and -30 km/s. The single profiles have central velocities between -20 and -25 km/s. Electron temperatures between 5000 and 8000 K corresponding to each point are derived under the assumption of local thermodynamic equilibrium.
