An overview of astrophysics research in 1992 is presented. Attention is given to investigations of the sun, extrasolar-system planets, the search for brown dwarfs, triggered star formation, gamma-ray sources, the unified model of active galaxies, and large-scale lumpiness in the universe. The solar system and Milky Way are discussed briefly, and various corrections and updates are given.
