The energetics and morphology of the multiple ejection plasmon, or plasmoid, model in the type of circumgalactic environment discussed by Jones and Owen (1979) is studied. It is shown that the plasmon model of a radio tail source is in agreement with the observed luminosity of the entire tail, for the case of time scales required by observations of such typical tail sources as NGC 1265. The inclusion of the interstellar medium suggested by Jones and Owen assures agreement between the observed morphological structure and that predicted by the model.
