A six-moments fluid theory required for the description of spherical systems of particles obeying an inverse-square law of interaction, for example, stellar atmospheres and winds, stellar systems, and inertial confinement fusion systems, is developed. The development consists in treating two additional types of processes, namely those related to the skewness (anisotropy) of the particle distribution functions and those related to the differences in the streaming velocities of various species (or of two distinct populations of the same type of particles). It is noted that, in contrast to moment equations in which the simple Krook operator is used for calculating the particle-particle interaction terms, in the present theory (based on Fokker-Planck formalism) the various moments relax according to distinct relaxation times. It is thought that this should have a major effect on the evolution of the entire system.
