This project covered the development of new diagnostic and modelling techniques for the study of the outer atmospheres of cool stars. Aspects of the project that were actively persued during the course of the grant included EUV analysis techniques for EUVE and WFC data, comparison of shock models with observations, multi-component atmospheric modeling of cool stars, and a study of new transition region and coronal density diagnostics.
